GENTRY COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC APRIL 22, 2021

•Roll-off dumpsters provided at 410 W. Main Street

•Recycling at 413 W. Main St includes: Cardboard, paper, plastic and aluminum 

•Tire Recycling-Please limit 4 tires per Benton County household and no construction waste.

•Electronic Recycling- Only 2 electronics (containing a circuit board) per household.

•Household hazardous waste will be accepted Saturday, April 10th from 10-2 ONLY

Northwest Health EMS and the Gentry Fire Dept. will host a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic April 22, 2021 from 8-2:30 at the First Baptist Church of Gentry located at 232 W. Main St. Gentry, AR 72734.  This is the second shot of a two-part vaccine if you attended the clinic held April 1, 2021 you will attend this clinic at the same time and place for your second shot. 

Full Time Library Assistant

The City of Gentry is accepting applications for a full-time library assistant.  Applications are available on our website www.gentryarkansas.us and at City Hall.  Applications will be accepted until 04/12/2021 or until the position is filled.  Duties may include circulation desk responsibilities, computer assistance and supervision, cleaning; patron, program and grant assistance.  This position requires computer skills and comfort in working with all age groups, skills and abilities.  The employee must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. and pass a post offer pre-employment physical and be willing to work weekends and flexible hours.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

Part-Time & Reserve Police Positions

The City of Gentry, Arkansas, is accepting applications for the positions of Part-Time and Reserve Police Officers.  Applicants must be U.S. citizen, at least 21 YOA, possess a valid driver's license and meet, or be able to meet, all minimum standards requirements, as set forth by the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training.  Applicants chosen for further review will undergo a thorough personal/professional background investigation, and interview process.   Applications will be accepted until 3/28/21 or until the positions are filled.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Public Works Position

THE CITY OF GENTRY is accepting applications for a construction and maintenance position with the Public Works Department. Applications are available at Gentry City Hall or on our website at www.gentryarkansas.us. Applications will be accepted until 2/17/21 or until the position is filled. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License. A personal and professional background investigation, driver and criminal history will be conducted.  A medical examination, oral interview and abilities testing will be required.
