The Western Benton County Partnership is an organization of local leaders with a desire to protect and improve the quality of life of the residents of Western Benton County.
Funds have been made available for this organization to be able to help tornado victims that still have unmet needs. Please take this opportunity to apply for help if you are still needing funds to put your life back in order after the tornado. Print and Return the following application to the Mayor's office in Gentry, Decatur, or Gravette.
The City of Gentry is taking applications for the position of Volunteer Firefighter.
No certifications required to join.
Should live in or around Gentry in the Gentry Fire Response area.
Must be in Good physical condition and able to Lift, Carry and Climb.
Must attend training sessions on Thursday nights.
Must be able to complete the required training classes in 1 year.
Must be willing to answer calls in All weather conditions Day or Night 7 days a week.
Must be able to pass a background check.
You must hold a valid driver’s license.
City of Gentry Public Works Laborer must be able to work outdoors safely in all weather conditions, lift up to 75 pounds, operate/maintain a variety of heavy equipment and perform manual labor activities. Possible jobs sites will include construction, treatment plant, road maintenance, park maintenance, and other related areas as requested by the supervisor.
