The City of Gentry is taking applications for the position Water Department Laborer
Pay: From $35,867.24 per year
Job description:
The City of Gentry Water Department Laborer position requires the ability to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 75 pounds, operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, and perform a range of manual labor tasks. Job sites may include construction projects, treatment plants, road and park maintenance, and other assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver’s license. All candidates will undergo personal, professional, and criminal background checks, as well as a medical exam and drug screening.

The City of Gentry is taking applications for the position of Volunteer Firefighter.
No certifications required to join.
Should live in or around Gentry in the Gentry Fire Response area.
Must be in Good physical condition and able to Lift, Carry and Climb.
Must attend training sessions on Thursday nights.
Must be able to complete the required training classes in 1 year.
Must be willing to answer calls in All weather conditions Day or Night 7 days a week.
Must be able to pass a background check.
You must hold a valid driver’s license.
