Public Works Laborer must be able to work outdoors safely in all weather conditions, lift up to 75 pounds, operate/maintain a variety of heavy equipment and perform manual labor activities. Should live in or around Gentry in the Gentry Fire Response area.

Must be in Good physical condition and able to Lift, Carry and Climb.

Must attend training sessions on Thursday nights.

Must be able to complete the required training classes in 1 year.

Must be willing to answer calls in All weather conditions Day or Night 7 days a week.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Also supports cataloging tasks and meeting room assistance, as required.  Strong focus on customer service, technology experience and teamwork. This position requires computer skills including office software.  Excel skills are preferred but not required, and a familiarity with social media.  Facility hours vary Monday – Saturday.  Must be willing to work flexible hours, approximately 15 hours per week.
