Senior Center
The center is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Noon meals are served there each day (at a suggested donation of $3). Meals on Wheels is also available through the center, Monday through Friday.
Just a few of the other activities available at the center include bean-bag baseball, Wii games, monthly dinners, trips, computers with Internet access, card games, puzzles, exercise programs and crafts. Water color painting classes are offered at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday's. Please call 479-736-0378 for details.
Many come for meals and a time of socializing with other area senior citizens.
The center is also available as a shelter with heating and cooling should an area resident lose power or utilities.

Gentry Senior Center
PEPPI Starts Again
The Gentry Senior Activity Center started PEPPI exercises again. PEPPI is approved by the American Heart Association. We start at 9 a.m. every Tuesday & Thursday and it lasts 30 to 45 minutes. PEPPI is a low impact program which includes stretching, strengthening (done with bands), and an exercise to improve your balance. PEPPI stands for Peer Exercise Program Promotes Independence. For more information, call 736-0378. This is for anyone 60 and up. Please come and join us.
